Eventually I Will Rust And Die

A car sits outside the gallery space with text written on the windscreen “eventually I will rust and die”. Inside the gallery a model of the same car,  tiny and aged towards the end of its life, has another text in its window. it reads “before I go I will take some of you with me”.

There were three versions of this piece made. Each version was made in relation to the gallery it was being exhibited at, the car belonging to one of the gallery staff or studio artists.

Images above taken from Trying To Cope With Things That Aren’t Human (Part One) at David Cunningham Projects, San Francisco and Cell Project Space, London and AirSpace Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent.

The project was made possible with funding from Arts Council England, British Council and Staffordshire University.
